Making decisions can be hard, but for some it's especially hard with all the limitless options that Tassimo offers. The Now Brewing content series was devised as a set of stories with some of the more notably indecisive. They mull, ponder, and agonize everything from life's big questions like "why are we here?" to "what am I having with this bagel?" Luckily the Tassimo brewer is there for them. 

NOW BREWING – :40s Larry David 

OPEN ON A TITLE CARD THAT READS, “NOW BREWING”. FADE TO A C.U. OF LARRY DAVID’S FACE. AS HE SPEAKS WE SLOWLY ZOOM OUT TO SHOW HIM WITH HIS CUP OF COFFEE.

LARRY:   … and I’m telling you, BOTH of these women were into me. I know you see an annoying, balding Jew. But these women … they saw a man with power.

THERE’S A PAUSE. THEN WE HEAR A VOICE.

 VOICE:  Or money.      

WE CUT TO A WIDE SHOT SHOWING THAT LARRY IS IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS KITCHEN TALKING TO HIS “THERAPIST”, THE TASSIMO BREWER.

LARRY:  Same thing. But the point is, I couldn’t decide which one I liked. So I went home alone! You believe that? I was literally frozen by indecision.

BREWER:  Did you consider a threesome?                    

LARRY TAKES PAUSE. HE CONSIDERS THIS FOR A GOOD 3-4 SECONDS WITH A THOUGHTFUL, SQUINTING, SIGNATURE LARRY DAVID EXPRESSION. HE BEGINS TO NOD HIS HEAD. HE CAN’T HELP BUT AGREE.

LARRY:  Oh, you’re good! I never even thought of that! This is unbelievable. This is real break-through, doc.        

LARRY GETS UP AND WALKS TOWARD THE BREWER. WE CUT TO HIS HAND PUTTING A GEVALIA T-DISC INTO THE MACHINE AND PUSHING “BREW”. THE SCREEN OF THE BREWER READS, “NOW BREWING.” WE FADE TO THE TAGLINE ON WHITE AS LARRY FADES OUT.

BREWER:  I’m not a doctor, Larry. I’m … a figment of your imagination.

LARRY:  A threesome. Imagine that? “Larry David, threesome extraordinaire.”

In the real world, we would stage indecision therapy stations. We would be on location filming with the voice of our brewer prompting passersby to have a session. The brewer would interact in real-time to each person, in the end suggesting multiple flavors to try right there.
